Luis Navarro Biography.

About me: Born in El Salvador and bred in Castaic ,California, (SANTA CLARITA VALLEY RULES!!)I have been producing art since i was a child for the love of it, however for the past decade it has become my profession. I attended COC " College of the canyons", located in Valencia, California, the Los Angeles academy of art located in Sherman Oaks California, And also their private studio Associates in Art located in Encino , California. I studied traditional art, contemporary art, photo realism, character development, modern illustration, among others.while living in my hometown i freelance for various companies and corporations, to name a few Warner bros, Digital Extreme, Seinegers,Six Flags,Myra's magical props,. I work with various types of mediums. Oils, gouache, acrylics,urethanes, and prefer paintbush, pencils and airbrush to execute final art pieces. My greatest accomplishment is that my work is so diverse. I have the ability to airbrush a name and then create a fine art piece both with the same ease. Currently me and my good friend operate XtremeAirbrush, our location will change, were no longer located in 815 N. Mesquite st. we should have a new location soon, but in the meantime im enjoying the freelance art career. I would like to thank some of my master teachers, that with them i was able to comprehend the properties of visual illusion, understand the simplification of the human anatomy, and fundamentals of visual mastery.
